Thank you for letting me share. I am so sick of this situation. My granddaughter is such a good "adult". Thank you for your comments. Please help me to get through it. I am trying to stay calm but I just want to reach out and hug her. When I communicate with her, I just tell her that I love her. Is there any thing I could say that may make her think about leaving CA and return home. It is so hard for me to accept what she and he have done. Brain washing, total control, no ID, no money, etc., dependence on someone else for the necessities of life, food, shelter. We had special "girls day" - usually shopping - away from the boys. I am heartbroken.

Helpless and Very Sad Grandmother

i feel so helpless that there is nothing we can do to make her see this - no money, no identity, and a servant to him and his family.

I feel so helpless that there is nothing we can do to make her see this - no money, no identity, and a servant to him and his family. She and her two brothers were adopted in a Christian home. They were sent to a private school where the Father taught AP classes on a college level. Then they were sent to a public school for a variety of reasons.
I feel my hands are tied and I am so useless because we cannot reach out to help. His family is brain washing her also and helping to separate her from us. Her brothers thought she was coming home for Spring Break and were excited. How can we "fight" a complete HIS family when they have her 24/7 and we are 3,000 miles away? HELP US PLEASE!

Vidot - This is the girl's grandmother. He hides the guns at his uncle's house - who is not JW.
I don't understand how she can be going through classes while living with him and having sex. Looks like they would not baptize her - or is all that okay until she actually becomes a JW.
I wondered if that had a fight Sunday night and that was why she was crying and missed us. I just wish whatever happened would happen again soon. I just wish I were there to be able to go get her to at least hug her when she is down.
If she wanted to leave, no one is there to get her. She is alone except for the JW. All her family and friends are in South Carolina.
So by the time we could get there and get her, the JW can turn her.
